Femicide Canada is releasing a true crime podcast episode for every woman killed by gender-based violence. 611 episodes.

In Canada, every 48 hours, a woman or girl is killed, most often by a man, because of her sex or gender. Since 2020, there have been at least 611 women and girls killed by men in acts of gender-based violence across the country.

Too True Crime was created to show the relentless regularity of femicide in Canada with an episode for each woman and girl – that we know of – who has died by femicide in the last 6 years.
